Lead the Industry to Electrochemical Manufacturing
Ceramic Cells Technology was founded by Professor Zhongliang Zhan’s team from the University of Science and Technology of China. The company specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) stacks for hydrogen production, with a focus on building world-class stacks with fully independent intellectual property and driving their industrial application.
On June 28, 2024, Ceramic Cells unveiled its self-developed SOEC‑CH₄ hydrogen stack, which uses biomethane, steam, and renewable electricity as inputs and outputs high-purity hydrogen and self-enriched CO₂. These gases serve as feedstock for downstream e‑SAF and Green Methanol synthesis, effectively addressing the high cost of raw materials.
Produce 1 Nm³ of H₂ and 0.25 Nm³ of CO₂ with only 1 kWh of electricity and 0.25 Nm³ of CH₄.
